■2026 IWGT Trend Test WG 調査依頼概要

国立衛研 伊澤会員より、IWGTトレンドテストグループが実施するアンケートについて、
MMS研究会会員への周知依頼を受けましたので、下記の通りご案内いたします。
■目的：
2026年IWGT会議のワーキンググループ（Trend Test WG）では、遺伝毒性試験におけるトレンドテストの活用状況を把握し、今後の推奨事項を策定するため、各施設の現状を確認する調査を実施します。
■調査対象：
OECD試験ガイドラインに準拠したアッセイを実施している試験施設（1回答/1社でお願いします）

■調査内容：
2部構成の調査
・Webフォーム（15問程度）
・アッセイ別データ収集用スプレッドシート
※匿名化されたデータ例の提供も歓迎（陽性判定が二値的なデータセットでのトレンド評価に焦点）

2026年2月27日

  Subject: Call for IWGT Survey Participants
  Dear MMS Member:
  A working group for this year’s IWGT meeting is focused on the use of Trend Tests in genotoxicity testing. For this, we have created a 2 part survey to confirm our understanding of the current trend test landscape. The scope is limited to assays which have an OECD test guideline, and to sites that physically conduct the testing. If you are a Study Director at a Test Facility, and conduct OECD guideline assays, we would welcome and encourage you to be part of this survey. Survey data will be maintained by 1 person in the working group and presented to the working group anonymously. By participating, you agree to allow the WG to analyze responses for comparative purposes, which will aid in formulating consensus statements. Additionally, follow up questions may be asked to clarify responses. The survey closes on Feb 27.
  Below is our remit – if willing/able to respond to the survey, please contact Dan Roberts (drober35@its.jnj.com). The survey consists of a general 15 question web form, and spreadsheet tailored to collect data on a per assay basis. Anticipated time for completion is 90 minutes. We also welcome anonymized data examples, with a focus on evaluating trend in datasets where positive response criteria were dichotomous – simply reach out to Dan to begin the sharing process.
  2026 IWGT Trend Test WG Remit: This working group will evaluate the role of statistical trend tests in the analysis and interpretation of genotoxicity assay data. We will review current practices, assess the strengths and limitations of available methods, and develop consensus recommendations on when and how to apply trend tests, how to report their results, and how to interpret them when they are concordant or discordant with other assay response criteria. Our deliverables will include consensus statements, a practical decision framework, and illustrative case studies.
